- registration is open year-round, subject to availability. There may be a wait list if there are more applicants than spaces in the program;
- a completed application along with an original birth certificate as proof of identity, current immunization and medical information, financial agreements, parental acknowledgments, fees and all other required school forms must be submitted before your child's first day of school;
- student:teacher ratio are kept small to allow each child to receive individualized and personalized attention throughout the day;
- all teachers in our programs are experienced professionals with degrees and certifications and experience in Early Childhood Development or Elementary Education;
- classroom activities include both teacher-planned and child-initiated activities with one or more of the following: books, music, art, dramatic play, manipulatives, computers, sensory experiences, age-appropriate Christian education and indoor and outdoor physical activities. Each daily schedule includes meals, nap and rest periods.
MOECA Prep offers the following programs: - To enroll, a child must be two and one-half years old prior to the semester in which enrollment is desired.
- Each child must be potty-trained (no diapers)
- Complete the Fine and Gross Motor Skills Assessment.
- This program focuses on helping children learn to follow directions, expand speech and vocabulary, express ideas, develop communication and interpersonal skills and enhance fine and gross motor skills. The academic program includes an introduction to numbers, language, writing and creative and dramatic play. The program for three-year-olds will focus on literacy and mathematics concepts and skills while helping students further develop their interpersonal and socialization skills.
- To enroll, each child must be at least 4 years old prior to the semester in which enrollment is desired.
- Complete Fine and Gross Motor Skills Assessment to determine if the mixed class is the appropriate developmental environment.
- The four- and five-year-old program focuses on kindergarten preparation with an emphasis on mathematics, language arts, reading comprehension, handwriting skills, science, health and social studies.
