God gives each of us an assignment in life. I have been entrusted with creating a place for the academic, social and spiritual development of young children. A place where children are loved, nurtured and prepared to successfully deal with challenges that he or she may face in the future.
The first years of a child's life are a time of enormous growth of linguistic, conceptual, social, emotional and motor competence. The environment in which a child grows up has a powerful impact on how the child develops and what the child learns.
We are glad that you are considering Mantle of Elijah Christian Preparatory Academy (MOECA Prep) for your child’s early education. At MOECA Prep, we believe that all children deserve a safe, fun, loving, nurturing, academically progressive learning environment in which to develop the skills necessary for a lifetime of learning. We believe they should feel safe to explore their world and try new things. They need to know that they are special and unique: their hurt feelings count, that their sadnesses will be comforted, their joys shared, and their accomplishments praised.
We realize the importance of selecting an academic environment appropriate for your child's early education. At MOECA Prep, we offer a structured environment where children are taught Christian values and ethics in tandem with curriculum that upholds these core principles. MOECA Prep will provide a developmentally appropriate, age-based curriculum, activities and an environment that will help to build a strong learning foundation in children. Our creative Christian curriculum will improve both behavior and academic skills, as well as help students develop their learning and socialization skills. In addition to the robust academic program, we will have lots of fun!
Parents are key to a child's early development. MOECA Prep places a strong emphasis on building quality relationships with the families of our students and we welcome their involvement in the Academy. While your child is enrolled in the Academy, you are always welcome to participate in the classroom, on field trips and during extracurricular activities.
